The mission of Al-Manar Academy is to guide our children towards the full realization of their spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, and social potentials as they serve Islam and humanity for the pleasure of Allah (SWT). Our school has a comprehensive program of meaningful, value-based learning experiences in an Islamic environment.

Building a Generation with Islamic Education
We believe that our children can develop the first step here; which is a firm relationship with the Creator – Allah (SWT), fol-lowed by the development of an Islamic personality capable of identifying, understanding and working cooperatively with others. This will provide our children with a method of solving the problems that they will face as individuals, community members, and as global participants. This is the essence of excellence in Islamic education.

Guiding Principles
Al-Manar Foundation Inc. shall be guided by the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah as understood and practiced by the early scholars in all its activities, matters, and dealings.
Notwithstanding any contribution or support received from any source, Al-Manar Foundation Inc. shall maintain full autonomy and independence from all parties, organizations, or governments, except as called for by the principles of Islam.
All decisions made and/or implemented by Al-Manar Foundation Inc., including the bylaws or any other rules and procedures, must conform to the Islamic Shariah.
In the case of any dispute, all matters must be resolved according to the teachings of Allah (SWT) and His Messenger, Mohammad (SAW), with the assistance of a trustworthy Scholar (or scholars), chosen by the Board of Directors, who is well known for his/her knowledge, understanding and piety.

Welcome to Al-Manar Academy. It is our hope that your child will find a satisfying and rewarding experience in the Islamic atmosphere of our school. We encourage you to work closely with Al-Manar Academy and become acquainted with your child’s teachers. Cooperation between the home and school is essential for your child’s success. An Islamic educational program can only be effective when it is reinforced in other areas of the child’s life. Parents must remember that learning does not end at school, but continues and requires reinforcement at home, in shaa Allah.
