Is there space in my child's grade?
Class sizes are capped at 25 students per classroom, so availability depends on the grade and current enrollment. If a class has reached capacity, families may be placed on a waitlist. Please contact the school to confirm current availability.
What does the admissions exam cover?
The admissions assessment generally covers English Language Arts and Math at the student's grade level. It helps us understand the student's current academic level and determine appropriate placement. All students are required to complete the admissions assessment before enrollment.
What if my child is behind in Quran or Arabic?
Students come to Al-Manar Academy with different levels of Quran and Arabic experience. We assess each student's current level and place them appropriately so they can continue to learn and improve. Being behind in Quran or Arabic does not automatically prevent a student from being admitted.
How do transfers mid-year work?
Mid-year transfers are accepted based on available space. Families should contact the school to confirm availability. We will review the student's previous school records, and the student must complete the admissions assessment before enrollment.
