Classes take field trips throughout the year — past trips have included the Buffalo Museum of Science, Tifft Nature Preserve, and other educational destinations.
School life at Al-Manar goes beyond daily lessons. Throughout the year, students have opportunities to compete, present their work, explore new places, build projects, and take part in the life of the school community.

Faith is not separate from the way we approach education. Students are encouraged to seek knowledge with purpose, develop the abilities Allah has given them, and think about how what they learn can benefit their families, communities, and the world around them.
Whether they are studying science, preparing a khutbah, building a project, or learning to lead, our goal is for students to grow into Muslims who are capable, curious, responsible, and ready to do something meaningful with what they know.
