Al-Manar Academy is committed to making its website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe all visitors to almanarfoundation.org should be able to access our information clearly and without barriers.
Our accessibility goal
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies.
What we are doing
To improve and maintain accessibility on this site, we are working to:
- Use clear, readable fonts and sufficient color contrast throughout the site
- Provide descriptive text alternatives for images and non-text content
- Structure content with a logical reading order and clear headings
- Ensure all interactive elements (links, buttons, forms) are keyboard-accessible
- Make form labels visible and properly associated with their fields
- Avoid content that flashes or moves in a way that could cause seizures
Known limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some content on this site may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are actively reviewing and improving our pages. Third-party content, including embedded Google Forms and Google Maps, is subject to the accessibility policies of those providers.
Feedback and contact
If you experience any difficulty accessing content on our website, or if you need information in an alternative format, please contact us. We take all accessibility feedback seriously and will respond within 2–3 business days.
Formal complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you may contact the relevant enforcement authority. In the United States, accessibility complaints related to programs receiving federal financial assistance can be directed to the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights.
